The only reason all these comparisons with Blackpool started, and even before the season,

is because we were playing attractive, attacking football just like they were.

But we've not made the mistake in the Prem. We've done it at times and at other times we've hoofed the f**king thing, and sometimes also gone ultra-defensive and tried to play on the counter.

And another thing. Look at their 2010/11 permanent signings and click through on them to see how many appearances they all put in during the 2010/11 season !

We've signed Bennett, Pilks, Morison, Johnson, Ayala, Vaughan on perms. Vaughan aside (but I hope it changes when he is fit) ALL have played big parts this season. Ayala only in the last couple of games but again due to injury and if he stays fit you'd expect him to play his part too.

In fact even if you look at their loan signings, De Laet and especially Naughton have probably been as, if not more, involved.

So that's the difference with us in my opinion. Lambert's excellent transfer strategy (and his excellent tactical and man management sides too of course)
