Same here but happy I did it now. As for lessons, I had to do 30+ - in

Holland you can ONLY drive with an instructor. And you can't apply for a test until they say you are ready which will of course not be to soon as it isn't in their interests. Very dodgy. On average the Dutch takes 4 tests to pass...

I did it in 2 but it is the luck of the draw. First one I thought I was far better but woman instructor liked defensive driving and failed me. Second one I thought I made more mistakes but the examiner was also a motorcylce instructor so preferred more aggressive driving and passed me.

I only drive once or twice a week normally and haven't touched my car now in almost a month, but I'd feel paralysed without it.
