i passed my test after six lessons

put in for my test (was big waiting time at the time) and forgot i had the test booked until my mum reminded me three days before it.

phoned up an instructor and she said could fit in six one hour lessons beforehand and may as well just do the test for the experience.

i passed by the skin of my knob, mostly i suspect due to the sob story i made up to the examiner which even now makes me cringe when i think about it.

he actually said to me "i'm going to pass you. just. but i wouldn't like to be a passenger in your car"

Two months later i wrote off a courtesy car with forty miles on the clock which my mum had whilst her car was being repaired.
