I think the stand thing is a bit pie in the sky.

Fact... they have just spent money doing out the stand plus they are going to improve the dugouts/facilities this season.
Doesnt sound like they plan on knocking it down next season.

Fact. The stand is estimated at 20 million (22 million 2 years from now)

The long term debt of that stand would be around 30 million given interest.

Increasing the CR capacity and extra 7000 only gives us an extra 133,000 seats per season (at 25 quid a seat that just an extra 3.3 million a year)
Thats assuming we sell out every single seat.

That would take a long time to pay back the stand.

We dont even know if demand would hold up if we played a number of seasons in the PL.
Teams who have played 3-4 seasons tend to have a dropoff in support after a while.
