Ok, take a concrete example

I haven't heard of these prepaid cards before and am mildly intrigued as to whether they might be useful for the Gitlets

So say I wanted a Gitlet to have one - what happens? Can I buy one in someone else's name? How much would it cost me in addition to the money I put onto it? If I put say ?500 onto it, does he get the whole ?500 to spend or does each transaction cost a little bit more to him than the actual cash price?

Forgive me if these are extremely ignorant questions
