A lot of people dont have a debit card for one thing, this might be down to bad credit/no credit or being new to the country for example.

As well as this, the prepaid card will offer purchase card, as you would get with a credit card.

It allows you to budget effectively, you can only spend what you have.

This card comes with a companion card allowing you to money share, this could be with a relative abroad or perhaps if you have children - you can pay pocket money on it, or if your kids are away from home and are in trouble you can get cash to them instantly.
