Ferreting invvolves sending ferret down hole after having placed nets over the other holes in the warren

Panic-stricken bunnies then bolt out of the holes to escape the ferret and get entangled in the net. You pick them up by the back legs and dispatch them with a James Bond karate chop across the back of the neck (the epnoymous "rabbit punch")

This is the way most restaurants like their wild rabbits to have been hunted, because they don't have to worry about shotgun pellets in the flesh.

Obviously if it's been farmed then the above does not arise (though different animal welfare and ethical issues do)
