dunno what its called but it shrinks tumors so that they can be operated on and removed

was on the national news this week...

some people were interviewed saying it should be kept as it saved their lives and that the NHS were putting a price on peoples lives ie £20k is too much for a life.

just caught my attention whilst i was having supper, so
cant remember for the life of me what its called.
