But the pre season friendlies have finished, this is the real thing and WE WERE BADLY BEATEN AND ARE OUT OF THE LEAGUE CUP!!!!!!!! I'm guessing you didn't do the 500 mile round trip then, cos if you had you'd be as pissed off as our car load was. If you're going to go to the bother of entering a compitition at least make an effort to win a few games in it. We finished last night with ONE player who'll start on saturday but that wasn't the most depressing thing, that was the fact that he took off the only two players who looked capable of breaking down the Blackburn defence when we were only 1-0 down and were finally looking like we could come back into the game. Talk about throwing in the towel. Call me old fashioned but the thought of a good cup run excites me, obviously you and our manager don't agree. I'm disappointed, i thought Lambert was better than all that sort of thing.
