Anyone who thinks last night was 'the worst final ever'

Clearly didn't watch a single minute of the finals in 1990, 1994 and 2002.

I found it interesting and engaging. Not brilliant but not dull either. Plenty going on, quite a few chances and a great climax.

I'm glad that Spain won - not necessarily because they are 'God's Gift' but because they refused to be knocked off course by the Dutch.

As for the losers, they should be a little ashamed of themselves. Van Bommel, Snijder and de Jong literally decided - as cool as you like - to cross the line. They got exactly what they deserved.
