can i just say, i've watched a little bit of local youth football

in the last couple of years.

and the main fault our youngsters have is the dads. every time a defender gets the ball, the dads all shout lump it, and every time their star player gets the ball its all get-in to him, applauding more the worse the tackle/foul is

i've heard coaches bollock kids for misplacing a pass, and rather than encourage at half time, tell a team of 9 year olds how crap they're playing

i've also seen a team of 9 year olds crying because they have lost

all wrong
