right. Well I was right, others were wrong, then

Thought throughout the 2nd half that US were likely to get a late winner (remember they came from behind on both their previous games, and very nearly got a late winner vs Slovenia). We should have been going for a second goal.

And we were *more* likely to concede an equaliser because of the way we went into our shells in the second half. I don't think I have ever seen a team going for the corner flags as early as we did, in any game I've ever watched.

The Slovenes clearly realised we were pretty much spent as an attaacking force. Someone suggests below that we were tired. Why? And why weren't the Japanese last night?
