iPhone for the phone. Seriously. Am anti-Apple myself, but

remember I work at T-Mobile, and we are the sole reseller in this country of both Android phones and the iPhone, and also sell HTC handsets, Blackberry devices, etc.

Some people prefer Blackberry, but everyone who has taken an Android handset wishes they'd gone for the iPhone. I also have an HTC Touch 2 which I thought was brilliant, until 2 weeks later I got an iPhone.

Simply no contest at the moment.
