surely if you're being actively headhunted for the position, you should expect

a very healthy increase indeed. I'd say starting at 25% to whatever they're willing to pay.

I was in a somewhat similar position myself not long ago having certain skills that are quite rare and also being well known to those headhunting me.
They asked me my wages (which I exaggerated by about 20%) and they then offered to double them.

My brother was also headhunted many years ago and they offered to triple his wages
