If he was even hald as what is made out, we'd have been bottom with less than 10 points, like it really was at the end of Grant's reign

As it was, we were losing narrowly, and form wasn't good, but it could have improved, he just wasn't allowed that opportunity to prove it. Instead we gave that opportunity to someone with no experience and paid the heavy price

Not only that, he was rewarded with the job for failing
