Just back from the AGM

Have to say, Bowkett and McNarly very impressive. McNally has had all the limelight to date, but I was also very impressed with Bowkett. He had some wit, but was very hard-lined like McNally.

They broke the meeting down to various sections,

1) questions on accounts only
2) formal (boring) stuff
3) Bowkett did a Powerpoint presentation showing ratio of player wages to turnover over the past 6 years. Prem clubs averaged about 66% (surprisingly steadY and low). Also showed Championship clubs... this increased over the years to 85% - chasing the dream in effect. NCFC was low, but increased considerably over the past 2 seasons, largely due to 2.5m being spent on loans by the Rodent last yr.
4) Bowkett also did a presentation showing a breakdown of our income and outgo over the past 6 years.
5) Questions on Financial matters.
6) McNarly then did a presentation on crowd levels at Carrow Rd over 6 years in comparison to Prem and Champs and Lg 1. 9 Prem clubs average 35k crowds or over. To be AVERAGE Prem team, it is therefore clear we need a 35k ground. Wont be done in our 3yr vision, but ultimately thats what we will need but it will cost ?15m. A lot, but chicken feed when Promo to the Prem turns revenue to 70m. Bowkett clearly said not feasible to sell Carrow road and move out of town. They have looked into it and the sums dont add up. Simple!
7) General Football questions...

All in all, 1hr 20 mins. Packed in the Barclay
