yeah, that's true but it's going to take a long time to wean people off laptops I reckon

I'm not sure what the specs of the i-pad are but I'd be surprised if its faster than most laptops for most tasks. Having said that, netbooks have sold pretty well and the ipads arent too pricey are they?
