a think a good manager could've kept us up

regardless of their experience.

Pardew struggled to get Wham up, taking 2 attempts to do it, with probably more money than most to spend. He failed to turn around a failing side at Charlton in the Premiership and further compounded their problems by spending lots (though lots had also been re-couped through sales) and failing to even get in the play offs the season before he was leading them to another relegation. His spending at Soton also appears to be somewhat more than most others in this division have to work with, and while he may go on to get them into the play offs and up, it's still not a brilliant success.

now a Mark Robins... :-)
