my point still stands

we'd have gone from sacking a man that led us to 4th from bottom (on goal difference and a team 2 points below us with a game in hand) to one that had led his previous club to 3rd from bottom and in an even bigger f**k-up than we were (again ignoring who we actually went for) i wouldn't have wanted him.

After he failed to turn it around for Charlton in the Premiership - despite having half a season to do so - what makes you think hed have been able to do what he could have done there with us, where, like Charlton in the Prem, most of the damage had already been done?

it's not like he managed that with West Ham is it?
