Simple answer yes he is a good Championship manager...

He sorted us out really well when we were screwed and took us up 3 years later! Few would fault him in those years and he built a great squad - with skill, solidness but most of all passion - something we've lacked for years until this season!

I think he made his biggest mistake the summer we went up - breaking up a passionate and solid team in favour of "big names" - that weren't any better then what we had and had no passion for Norwich what-so-ever. This and the fact the board didn't make money available for Ashton until Christmas meant going down was inevitable, if it wasn't anyway!

It's hard to say what went wrong when we went down - although it's easy to blame the manger I think it was a combination of things - huge expectation and pressure of fans, players that didn't want to play for Norwich anymore (Ashton and Francis among others) and yes some poor signings by Worthy.

I think things did improve briefly but it was too late - although Worthy had lots of support until quite late too many fans had turned on him and he had to go. I think many think it was almost mean of the board to keep him on so long.

I think most fans on here will say that Worthy has been one of the best managers in recent Norwich history - certainly up there with Mike Walker. I doubt he's as good as Paul Lambert though (hands off!)

Good luck and look forward to playing you again next year (in the Championship). Another club with proper fans!
