This has to happen, and its usually the job of the senior CB to sort out who the midfield is picking up at goal kicks.
Docs still doing that when Forster takes the kick.
Forster can see this, he's looking at 4 backs instead of 4 faces, he's the only player who CAN see this.

All I can think is that he's seen a gap somewhere, or a chance of a break and tried to hit someone early.
