Since Wrath knows everything...Just had a bed delivered which I have to

assemble myself.

All great, only once I open the package and read the instructions it wants me to use wood glue on some of the steps. Had I known it required glue I wouldn't have bought the f**king thing as my house is an old one where nothing is straight or big (apart from me of course) so I would never be able to take it apart again should I move or want to change the house around.

Question is - is the wood glue just an extra insurance ? Should I just fix it together and ignore the glue ? Or will the whole thing collapse the second I move ?
