Its not what you bring in, its how you manage them.

Chris Brown is a good example.
He got a slating when he was here and no-one as thanking anyone for his signing-and how we laughed (!) as Preston took him off our hands.

Now he is scoring goals, getting good reviews and is highly rated up there, when "The Times" did a feature on the possibility of Preston playing in the Prem, it was Brown they interviewed!

So, yes, Gunn brought in players that have performed very well for us thus far (and theres the key-thus far, and its only October!) but would the performances, results, indeed, the spirit and good vibe have been what it is now, had he stayed on?

You can never be sure. But I doubt it, very much.
