BBC2 Last Night, Ref.Coventry/WW2....
Did anyone see the programme about the WW2 bombing of Coventry last night?
Systematic and meticulously planned bombing pattern by the Luftwaffe, just about totalled the entire City.
Yet, amongst all that destruction, number of deaths didn't exceed 600.
The RAF did the same to, amongst other German Cities, Dresden-25'000 plus dead!
Why so many more casualites there, can't simply be because the population was so much greater surely-did they "bomb better"?
