and Gunn is that, but most fans also wanted someone with at very least limited managerial experience.

There's only a couple of people who tick both boxes and frankly i dont think we could afford any of them. I wanted Mark Robins but it wasnt going to happen.

Gunn was already on the payroll and cheap, as well as being a city legend. The job was always his.
