And you can try and do too much. After all getting from one place to another can take up most of the day, then you have to sort accommodation, then you are exhausted - by trying to overdo it you could end up enjoying it less.

Coaches in Chile are fantastic by the way, far more comfortable than anything in England and an amazing step up from Peru where you get sheep in the aisles!
