ok, and how long have you got?

I was there about 2 - 3 months.

Peru is fantastic, you must do machu picchu of course but there's so much more - we started in Lima and worked our way down the coast stopping at places along the way to Arequipa (Ica, Nasca lines etc) and then over to Cusco (where you do the Inca Trail) - there's loads to do and see on the way and you can do it all by local coaches etc - an experience if you are prepared to travel in the old fashioned way. It all depends on how long you have though...?

Brazil I wasn't there for too long but obviously Rio is a must visit but there's so much more to Brazil than that.
