Yes we can aim criticism at Worthy but if he is not being given the funds he needs to bring in the players that he needs can does the blame rest solely at his door?

He says that he is happy with the squad that he has, bollox, i don't think he is but he is saying that to present a rosey relationship with the board.

What i want to know is what happened after Nigel said and i quote "i will be looking to replace anyone that leaves and be looking to add 1 or 2 more to what i;ve got?". I reckon a certain meeting that Nige was due to have with the board shortly after he made that statement blew his plans out of the water.

It is a fact that a central midfield of Hughes and Jarrett is not good enough to win any team promotion. If the board think that we can still win promotion by not strengthening a defence that leaked so many goals last season (and was the reason for our relegation) and by not replacing one of our best midfielders they are sadly mistaken.

More ambition less prudence please.
