my complaint is not particularly against what is intended by the petition. I don't think it is being suggetsed that people sign and then stay silent at matches. But I do think that the actual effect of the petition (and other forms of protest/complaint) is generally to undermine and depress the whole club including the players, at this critical moment. Well intended, but misguided. This is a period of time which could have an impact for many many years to come. It is imperative that we give the players every ounce of support, every encouragement. I am certain that without it, we are consigned to relelgation.
