Just that he would always seem to say things that were ususual given the context or situation, or would inappropriately find things amusing that really weren't amusing at all.
The main thing is that when you say someone is on the autistic spectrum, the layman (i.e. me) might automatically think, adversion to eye-contact or something cliched like that, but he doesn't display any of those sort of things.
