You hardly ever seem to hear about adults with things like Aspergers. But of course there's absolutely loads out there. So it's good to hear something like that.

Of course it's inevitable, given his generation, that he wasn't diagnosed until middle age. Whereas nowadays it might have happened when he was 3, rather than 43. The big question is what difference the diagnosis - and all the interventions you therefore get - make. Hopefully it's positive.

Do you mind me asking - in what ways has he always seemed odd?
