I'm not sure I agree...the explosion of BTL and Airbnb has taken a huge amount of stock

out of the market at the lower end and been one of the drivers of house price inflation. We do need a private rented sector but not a completely unregulated and financialised one. A big issue has also been the fact that we haven't built any social housing for a generation whilst that was also going on.
