Was it a clear and obvious error in real time? No. Was any advantage gained? Also no.

It's literally a matter of millimetres at best and assuming the semi-auto system works off their sports bra things rather than a sensor at each extremity (remember Teemu's "offside" the other year?) probably wouldnt' have been given by that.

It's argued that as a smaller team when we're in the prem VAR benefits the likes of us and levels the playing field; I'm unconvinced that's true but even if it was I'd still want it either scrapped or radically reworked. A clear and obvious error, a missed off-ball incident, that kind of thing, fine. When you're looking at literal millimetres it makes no sense. It's a sport not a computer game.
