He should have been put on gardening leave when he resigned

I honestly cannot think of any other example where someone who is failing is allowed to continue for so long - the fact there was no succession plan for him, and goodness knows from his first Everest interview it was clear he didn’t want to hang around, so why has this process been so slow.

It’s almost like there’s a couple who enjoy drawing huge amounts of money in salary each month and don’t want to change it.
