Yes the whole process seems to have suited Webber nicely

Allowed to sniff around other jobs (which he no doubt would have left for immediately if offered and would have been allowed to leave for) whilst still pulling in your salary for the full 12 months, no great rush to find a successor just get one in for a month or so before you want to swan off.

Its absolutely ridiculous when you break it down.
