It's an interesting dilemma

The recruitment this summer looks far more balanced than the last few years. We've brought in some youngsters, some promising players from overseas coming into their prime and a handful of players who know the league and should be ready to hit the ground running.

I think you're absolutely right that we're a more attractive sell vs other champs clubs than in the prem.

Only underlying question is whether, should we get promoted again, we should be going for prem targeted players or again looking for outliers.

Even with investment you can spend 20/30/40 million on players who take time to settle, or don't work. I think we need to look at having a sargent/emi/Godfrey style patgway/loan approach whatever we do (I guess that's what we're doing). There'll always be more attractive prem clubs than us, wages wise or profile wise.

Our pathway will always be our USP.
