However I would add that a key difference in n the two divisions is our ability to land the targets we want.

We are a big fish in the champ and can entice players here over alternatives. Eg I’m sure Barnes had lots of interest.

In the Prem we are a minnow. The second summer promotion summer we couldn’t get out main targets to come. Hence we went for our back ups (loans) and spaffed the money on youngsters who would come and who we thought might do ok or develop further. Maybe the answer in that situation is to have more main targets
