You won't know until you give it back. One of mine was collected after the end of the term

, the driver inspected it, said it was all OK and drove off. A while later I got a demand for the cost of a replacement windscreen. Turned out I was responsible for the car until it reached their premises, and the screen was cracked on the way.

I've had others where I've had to have scratches and bumps repaired before return. You need to factor that in, and it will depend on their interpretation of "fair wear and tear".
