Fair wear and tear is usually by reference to BCA definitions, isn’t it?

Also, in my experience, the amount they charge for things like a scuffed alloy is typically less than it would cost to have the wheel refinished yourself.

I’m sure there are horror stories, but if you look after the car there shouldn’t be any real issues.
