Also suits labour to lose it

As at the next GE they can either play the 'The Tories stole your Brexit' card or 'The Tories took your EU' card as suits.

The Rees-Mogg brigade are best served by a Corbyn win as they can then pivot the party to be a pro harder Brexit party against a Labour party that will be appealing to those wanting a softer one. Slam dunk win for the Tories I fear as we see a mini referendum play out under the FPTP system with an unethusiastic Corbyn leading the soft Brexit charge.

Grim times all round if you are a centrist europhile. Screwed either way. We probably need a May win and Corbyn to oppose a Ref2 in the hope we see centrists from split from both parties and form a third way. But what's that over there, a flying pig???

Ref2 worries me in that who leads the pro EU argument? Not the Government, not the Labour party. Uphill struggle to beat the machinery that will be swinging behind a Deal/Brexit option for party political purposes.
