I can’t see any outcome that won’t leave both parties ripped in two

It’s an issue that transcends party politics.

If on a GE labour aren’t seen as supportive of Brexit they will lose to a more extreme version of the Conservative party. They might well lose either way.

The only real hope for a remainder I think is a more moderate Tory leader who is willing to rethink whether Brexit really should have meant brexit come hell or high water.
