Never said was a surprise. Just maybe a bit of a pity.

Absolutely no issues with Tim Krul as he was and hopefully will continue to be v good keeper (though it is another player that won't help the homegrown rule). Still think it is maybe a pre-emptive decision though made in part due to the early closing of the transfer window.
