I just pray it's teething problems and that it can be used judiciously without becoming central to every decision.

Important to have a video ref communicating effectively and efficiently with on field officials. This is how it should primarily be used.

The red running over to a screen half a dozen times per game would completely let the air out of the atmosphere.

Football's problem is that it is a flowing sport, unlike say NFL or cricket in which breaks in play are part of the game. Also decisions are more straightforward... particularly in cricket.

In football, arguments still persist even with benefit of cameras.
