do fans still celebrate like they would if they scored a touchdown before VAR existed. Or is it more muted, followed by a smaller secondary celebration when it is confirmed?
Surely this trade off is the biggest issue: whether getting a few more accurate decisions justifies the diminishing of the spontaneous joy when a goal is scored - which is the best feeling in football.
I'm not sure it's worth it. Surely the end goal of sports is entertainment, not perfection.
