I infused a gallon of vodka with some loquats, which taste a bit like a citrussy peach.
However, for some reason (probably the pits) the infusion tastes like very almondy, not unlike Amaretto, which I'm not keen on at all.
My question is what can I bung in there to stop it tasting so almondy or to pair it with something nicer?
