Just been reading about how Sherwoods 'gung ho' 4 4 2 was 'shot down in flames' by Wenger yesterday .... That, and about Lamberts rapidly diminishing reputation. Whilst far from 'happy clappy', it does seem to me that some outers could do a little more to acknowledge that managing a club with our players and resources is a pretty tricky business ........ There will be no quick transformation. What yesterday showed is the sort of game that Hoots would like to play given the right players and circumstances, and I enjoyed it. So whilst he may not be perfect, I remain with rather than against him ...
