I have nothing concrete to base this on so its only a hunch but our level of

f**ting around with low bids seems to me to have increased again since Lambert left and Hoot came in which I would speculate (and it is only speculation) may be due to Hughton being less impatient and more prepared to just leave McNally to go off and do the deal however long it takes.

I just get the impression that Lambert when Lambert wanted a player he was probably a complete pain in the backside for the board until they delivered it for him - bit like a spoilt child!
