I know what you mean, i thought

there were glimmers of hope in some of the attacking play and thought we looked lively with some of the younger kids but a team seriously lacking in likeable characters or leaders and so many of these young players look good on the ball but have little end product. I fear Zaha may be the same as despite being praised for his performances week in, week out his goal and assist return in the championship is actually not great. They just all seem such lightweight personalities. Whether you like or loathe the likes of Terry as a human being he's strong character and you get the impression he would put his neck on the line for his country. I quite like welbeck but i find it hard to believe that he likes of Sterling, Jenkinson, Huddlestone, Shawcross, Sturridge and Baines are going to bring us the glory we crave! All decent enough players but don;t completely convince me.
