Last night I was thoroughly depressed by the England team

Not the result or performance. I thought we played well. Its more the type of player we currently have. Dull dull dull.

The only players who have any character to their play are Steven Gerrard and Leighton Baines. The rest are utterly bog standard grinders. Daniel Sturrige: groan. Cleverley: zzzzzz. Huddlestone: wtf?

We seem to be producing a generation of jermaine jenases.

The serial baby maker looked ok, but he's gonna be just another Lennon or SWP. We all know it.

What I'm basically saying is I miss David Beckham and Michael Owen.
