The internet here has decided to come out in sympathy...
It's been a really tough 3 years for us, literally getting pennies together to find food, petrol etc and with 2 kids, yet I see people with safe jobs striking over losing some pension money.
To cap it all, I've had to take today off - and lose even more money - just in case school was closed.
This strike didn't hit the bankers, or the government. It just hits the ordinary people that are finding life hard enough already.
And insincere messages from the unions that "they're really sorry" and that "they don't want to inconvenience people" just sound so hollow when it's exactly those people that suffer.
It's us, the ordinary people, that work for ordinary companies that suffer when the public sector and govt act like squabbling kids. It's us that has to pick up the pieces interms of the costs. And its the last thing we need right now.
Just grow up the lot of you. And let's get out of this mess.
